Until Next Time

The time is drawing so very close
When we must again say goodbye.
Many tears will flow as I walk away
But I'll whisper "please don't cry".

Just a few short days are now left
Till I must once more go away.
I'll return to my own little home
That waits so very far away.

Though many miles will be between us
Our spirits remain together as one.
Knowing again we'll be at the seashore
Standing hand in hand in the sun.

So for now we'll just say "till next time"
Instead of the usual goodbye.
For the joy of meeting again soon
Will banish sadness but for now we will cry.

After a visit between two friends who have become so close
in spirit, saying goodbye is a very hard thing to do.
But parting becomes easier if you know that soon
you will once more be together again. Cherish in your
memories the time you had with each other.
