Unchained Melody

I sit here by the edge of the water
While frost still glistens on the ground.
The ocean is so still and peaceful
The whisper of the breeze the only sound.

In my mind I see your picture
Your voice rings out loud and clear.
I hear the love words you whisper
So softly in my ear.

Time goes by so slowly
How I've hungered for your touch.
As the days drag on endlessly
I miss you so very much.

Are you dreaming and longing as I am
As I watch the waves, I wonder can you see
That I'm sitting here waiting by the ocean
For God to speed your love to me
