A Trip In Time

Last night I took a trip back in time
To a special place I know.
A place filled with peace and tranquility
And where once again I yearn to go.

The air was heavy with the perfume
Of flowers blooming near.
Little animals frolicked freely
Under skies so bright and clear.

A place where I could rest my soul
In warm sunshine or soft misty rain.
Where I could find happiness at last
Without fear of heartache or pain.

Though the trip was only in my mind
This place for now I will yearn.
The memories stay so clear in my heart
For I know that someday I'll return.

are a treasure to cherish. Knowing that you can and will return,
will keep those memories clear in your heart and mind.
Never lose them for they are a part of your essence.
