Sunshine After The Rain

Rain keeps falling down on me
Ever since you went away.
It mingles with the tears I cry
As I stumble through each day.

Everywhere I wander
I see a shadow of you.
Peeking through the storm clouds
Where the sky is no longer blue.

You're always there within my thoughts
You're with me as I drift off to sleep.
The happiness and laughter we shared
Are memories I will foever keep.

I know there will be a silver lining
And the bluebirds will be flying again.
I know I'll see a bright shining day
When I see the sunshine after the rain.

For once again we'll be walking together
On the seashore of bright shining sand.
We'll enjoy the sunshine after the rain
As we join once more hand in hand.

We keep them alive by looking back with happiness.
We can see the sunshine after the rain if we look with
love and joy in our hearts.
