Have you ever formed a friendship
Where you least expected it to be?
Or found that very special bond
That is there for all to see?

Have you ever watched a goldfish
As it swims around in it's bowl?
Or watched two most unlikely friends
Seeming to touch soul to soul?

Have you ever wondered at the mystery
That a friendship like this can bring?
And experienced their unusual closeness
As you watched them and felt your heart sing.

Life is full of many wonders
Such as poetry that speaks from the heart
And the poetess that reaches out to others
Be they near or very far apart.
