One Man & His Dogs

The sun is slowly rising
Chasing away the morning fogs.
Three silent figures wander Bracklesham Beach
One man and his dogs.

Early each morning finds them
Walking the still wet sand.
He savors the fresh morning air
With his loyal friends close at hand.

They wander for miles down by the sea
As the waves brush softly on the shore.
He watches his friends as they run and play
Rushing to him and then back to the water for more.

For years this has been a daily habit
They're making memories that time never clogs.
A togetherness unlike any other
Just one happy man and his dogs.

This is a special dedication to a wonderful man,
Roy and his precious companions, Poppy and Bobby.
They walk the seashore of Bracklesham Bay every morning,
come rain or shine. What a beautiful way to enjoy
the pleasures of this big world of ours.
One man and his dogs out in nature.
