Wonders Of Nature

The sun is shining brightly
Springtime is in the air.
The grass is turning greener
Flowers are blooming everywhere.

Mum Mallard calls out softly
To her babies on the pond.
They gleefully swim around her
Never venturing far beyond.

A robin is singing as it guards it's nest
High in the branches of a tree.
On the ground baby squirrels are scampering
While their mum waits patiently.

The Wonders of Nature are there for all
To enjoy each and every year.
To glory in seeing Earth's treasures
Brings happiness and a heart full of cheer.
