Watch My Speed

Some may call me a slowpoke
But my friends please take heed.
When it comes to what matters most
I say "just watch my speed".

I don't often over react to things
It may seem that my heart is cold.
But my life is always governed by
One simple rule that I hold.

That is to always take things easy
To yourself and others be kind.
Relax and enjoy this beautiful world
And peacefulness you will find.

So when you see me go slowly
Whenever doing any deed.
Just face me with something important
Then sit back and "watch my speed".
