Morning Has Broken
Morning has broken
It is the start of a new day
Just look out at natures simple beauty
As the sun rises over the bay.
We can see daylights first reflections
Glistening on the waters below
The air feels crisp and clean
Sunlit by the morning's gentle glow.
The wet grass sparkles
And glistens with early morning dew
The birds break into their dawn chorus
Welcoming this day anew.
Slowly the world awakens
To begin another day.
In the calm of the early morning solitude
With true thankfulness we pray.
As we cherish this moment
Our hearts fill with joy and elation
Morning has broken
In this, God's wondrous creation.

Early morning is the most beautiful time of the day,
To be able to just sit and watch the wonders of nature is something
that should not be missed. Those of us that have
learned to enjoy these simple pleasures in life
are truly the lucky ones.
