This poem is written for and dedicated to Kaye Stubbington.
One of the nicest, kindest and most tender-hearted ladies
I have ever known and I am priviledged to call her my very
dearest friend.
Kaye, I want to thank you for always being there for
me, even when I didn't make it easy.  We are indeed
"Kindred Spirits".

Kindred Spirits

Across the vast ocean and o'er the land
Two Kindred Spirits took flight.
Soaring through airways, each soul touched the hand
Of the other standing alone in the night.

The skies opened up to bright sunshine
As friendship bloomed quickly in the air.
A closeness that would ever grow stronger
As two hearts found a friend who would care.

Happiness flourished and laughter abounded
As togetherness was shared over miles.
America and England became forever as one
When two friends beamed out with their smiles.

Now they reach out together and cherish
The pleasure true friendship can bring.
Love's music peals out over land and sea
As at last, two Kindred Spirits sing.
