Judy and Jake

We are two Fulvous Whistling ducks
Known as Judy and Jake
I am the Queen of the garden
And he is the outstanding Drake.

He prances around with his head held high
Sometimes causing quite a ruck
He looks down from his kingly beak
At any wandering little duck.

Jake is the King of the garden
There to protect me, his Queen
I am the more timid, shy one
Standing quietly while I preen.

You will find us always together
In the early evening light
Diving in perfect unison
Way into the darkness of night.

We are two Fulvous Whistling ducks
Known for our outstanding beauty
Just call our names if you want to see us
We answer to Jake and Judy.

Judy and Jake are two precious members of our Waterfowl collection.
Both are very upright and tall and the leaders of the pack.
Jake is King of the garden and parades around protecting
all the newborn ducklings.
We treasure both of them as well as
all the rest of the gang.
They are our ducks and we love them all.
