Dreams In Flight

Flying out over the ocean so blue
Moving from day into night.
My mind wanders to my true friend
Who waits while my dreams are in flight.

She'll stand at the terminal in excitement
Searching the sky for my plane to appear.
She'll send her soul out to touch me
As she's done so often through the year.

We'll face each other in wonder
As the sun rises on a new day.
We'll share happy smiles and laughter
As we did when I was far away.

My dreams in flight have now brought me
To a new and wonderful land.
Two true and best friends are united
We'll stand together at last hand in hand.

When two people who have become very close in spirit while so far apart,
finally meet for the first time, they discover they can fly.
The joy and happiness fills theirs hearts and minds.
My journey to England has been a long awaited event in the lives of Kaye and I.
No two people could be more happy than we are at this very moment
and we look forward to many more visits.

How right Betty is when she says we are very happy and excited
We have planned this trip and looked forward to it for very many months
and at last the 5th.January has arrived.
I know I will be at Gatwick airport watching the sky, just waiting
to see American Airlines come in to land. I think Betty and I have proved
no matter the distance true friendship can overcome all things.
We intend to have four fun packed weeks. We will of course
share much of it with you all.
We both thank you for your loyalty and support
