I've got a protector in my house
Who is quite a great big beauty.
A feline who's bigger than little dogs
He's my Attack Cat On Duty.

He's 20+ pounds of ferociousness
He watches this whole house over.
And runs around with his fur raised up
Whenever another animal wanders over.

Day and night he sits at the window
Keeping a vigilant watchful eye.
He raises such an ear shattering noise
If anything or anyone ventures by.

I've got a sign up on my house
Warning visitors to be sure and watch out.
They always want to come right in
To see what it's all about.

So in they come to check it out
And see the cat that was so dubbed.
But lo and behold he flops on his back
Wanting his belly rubbed.
